Susitna Flats Housing

Location: Anchorage, AK

This multi-phase project began with determining the feasibility of developing the west end of the Park Strip. The site was analyzed for access, land use requirements, utility connections, and grading impacts. The subsequent design overcame challenges associated with development on a steep embankment, including detailed grading, five retaining walls, and an on-site infiltration system.
