United States Coast Guard (USCG) Kodiak Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF)

Location: Kodiak, AK

This project involves two phases. The first phase evaluates existing wastewater treatment plant/process/operations and the lift stations conveying wastewater to the treatment plant. The evaluation includes review of the physical plant, operations, treatment performance and efficiency, and with life cycle cost analyses, helps the USCG determine and plan for improvements to be designed and constructed. The second phase will entail the design of the recommended and accepted improvements. CRW was contracted to evaluate the WWTF and the electrical/mechanical components of the lift stations.
